Side Streets was premiered on Feb. 28, 2017 at the Oporto Conservatory of Music. It was written for the Portuguese group Dual Soundway. The piece is meant to loosely describe a collection of scenes that might happen in the side streets of a city at night. Those scenes can be whatever the listener thinks they are.
