A more conceptual scoring: The symbolism of the rings and circles is represented in the 3D spatial panning of the percussion and flutes. All the instruments used are metal, reflecting the blacksmith. In this narrative, the Blacksmith feeds souls into the well. These souls are the voices and breathing we hear. In nerdier news: this uses minimalist and 12-tone techniques.
